Hillcrest Estates, Fort Fairfield Housing Authority

Both RIFME and MAPHD are operated by the same Board of Directors, which is made up of the Executive Directors of Maine's nineteen local housing authorities.  Since 2002, MAPHD has been working through RIFME to retain institutional knowledge and to expand the role that housing authorities play in the development of affordable housing.   RIFME is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and shares office space with the Bath Housing Authority and Westbrook Housing.

In September we will host the 2007 Tri-State Conference, which brings together staff of the northern New England housing authorities to share ideas and participate in up-to-the-minute training.  This conference will be held September 10-12 in Bar Harbor.
